Y’all need to check out Sammie’s new EP “I’m Him” grab a drink, feel the vibes, and maybe call the one that got away. I love the line “I kept my heart to myself, I waited on you” The song is beautifully put together the beat is banging. It tells a story of a man having feeling for a woman since being a young boy but because a the wrong time, circumstances, and life taking them in different direction.
Track 5 is also a good engagement party song to play. It’s basically Sammie telling his girl or a girl he’s interested in that she don’t have to look for the right man anymore hence (I’m him). Off the six track album I personally like the title track “I’m Him” and track five “The Wait.” The title song would be a great pre-wedding song or wedding reception song to me. That ex that you see in the streets and actually want to talk to.
In addition, Sammie is co-headlining the highly. His single Kitty Cry drops Jan 28th, and EP Satin Sheets will release on February 11th. We are used to him exploring relationships, but this project takes a deeper dive into a woman’s fantasy and everything she may want to explore. Listen to Too Long and see the tracklisting below.

(By the way excuse the typos in my last series of posts. Sammie’s new music is sensual with a double dose of sexy. 15, Sammie will join Tank on his tour, which kicks off Sept. Not on bad terms just wasn’t the right time type shit. I received the news below from Sammie Okposo’s team a few weeks ago but have sat on it for a minute. So I’m on the Internet looking at music videos and I see Sammie “I’m Him EP.” I’m like “damn Sammie what you doing.” So I listened and I loved it!!!! It’s giving me ex-boyfriend vibes the one that y’all just broke up. Mmm telling y’all was sleeping on Sammie. My favorites off the album “Slow” and “Another Last Chance”.
NEW SAMMIE ALBUM FULL
The album only produced two singles “You Should Be My Girl” and Come with Me” which is amazing to me because it was full of single potential. And I was like oh he cute, but Baby! 2006 self-titled Sammie album was everything. He came out with “I like it” in 2000 from the album From the Bottom to the Top. As a baby of the late 80’s and a child of the 90’s to 2000’s.
